The Peddie School

The Nicholas R. Kaschik Scholarship Fund has been established to provide financial assitance  to a rising Junior and/or a Senior student(s) at Peddie, with a preference for a student(s) participating in athletics or who best exemplify the character, resilience and spirit of Nicholas R. Kaschik.

The character, resilience, and spirit of Nicholas R. Kaschik will be best represented by a student who overcomes significant challenges and demonstrates inspiring leadership and perseverance to his or her classmates.

The Hope Heart Institute

The Hope Heart Institute is involved in extensive clinical research to identify new therapies for cardiovascular conditions, including clinical trials on coronary artery disease, the illness that Nick suffered from.  In addition, Hope Heart invests in educational outreach programs to increase awareness and screening for cardiovascular disease. Recently, The Hope Heart began a new outreach program titled Athletes Take Heart – the focus is to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in high school and college aged athletes.
